Product Owner

Position Summary:

The Product Owner manages the product development process to ensure that clients’ needs are met. The Product Owner will gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints as well as be able to identify user needs, help a customer understand a business value, and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.

Product owners work with the scrum team to determine product features and manage product backlog items, as well as communicate with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

I. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint
2. Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
3. Solve product-related problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analysis to stay on track toward business deliverable commitments
4. Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products
5. Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
6. Work in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refine and define priorities, outline milestones, and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks
7. Work closely with the Product Manager to create and maintain the existed product as required
8. Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap
9. Priorities and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements and stakeholders
10. Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology
11. Research and analyze the market, the users, and the roadmap for the next sprint of the product
12. Defining the vision for the team’s product
13. Creating a product road map based on the company mission and vision
14. Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
15. Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Product Manager

II. Qualifications:

 

Education & Experiences

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Project Management or an equivalent degree or work experiences
• At least 2 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
• Having knowledge of the development process is plus
• Having knowledge of SDLC is plus

• Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the abilities to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
• Proficient computer literacy and software programs
• Working independently and well with and contributing effectively to a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Can communicate efficiently in English and Khmer
• Well-organized and attention to detail
