Position Summary:

As Junior Frontend Developer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining web applications. You’ll work with the development team, as well as UX/UI Designers and the Product Manager. You’ll work closely with our backend developers to deliver a consistent and reliable web experience as well as improve usability for our students and optimize web design for mobile responsive and other platforms for maximum speed. Report the progress the whole sprint and update daily progress reports to the Product Manager.

I. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the development team to improve the existed products
  2. Maintain and improve website and products
  3. Optimize and improve responsive for applications for maximum speed
  4. Design templates & layouts for existing products
  5. Report and update the problem and troubleshoot with the Backend Developer
  6. Report and update progress to the Product Manager
  7. Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
  8. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  9. Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Product Manager

II. Qualifications:

Education & Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant field
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery
  • Experience with VueJS and NuxtJS for at least 1 year
  • Experience with RESTful APIs is plus
  • Understanding of server-side and backend side

Skills & Abilities

  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Can communicate efficiently in English and Khmer
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Working independently and well with and contributing effectively to a team
  • Well-organized and attention to detail

Conditions

  • Full Time
  • Long Term Contract
