Job Description of Project Management Officer
The Project Management Officer is responsible for assisting the Product Manager to implement project activities. This also includes coordinating any activities and making sure the projects run smoothly according to the planning which includes scheduling, reporting and documenting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project calendar, scheduling meetings, and milestones,
- Manage and assist the flow of crucial information among team members
- Work with relevant colleagues to collect and systematize all available data and information on the status, key threats, and issues related to the project and present field data gathered for further analysis and for communications products
- Conduct project meetings as needed and represent the project in discussions with partners and stakeholders.
- Assimilate with other project members and stakeholders, organize meetings, workshops, and training courses, and assist workshops and discussions under the project
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Product Manager
Education & Experiences
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Project Management or an equivalent degree or work experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development process
- Having knowledge of the development process is favorable
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Skills & Abilities
- Significant knowledge of project management including estimation, negotiation, and build-out with solid working exposure
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt to change quickly
- Excellent minutes taking, report writing, and presentation skills
- Proficient computer literacy and software programs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and accomplish short and long-term deadlines
- Working independently and well with and contributing effectively to a team
- Strong, professional communication skills, able to approach senior managers using an appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style in Khmer and English
- Well-organized and attention to detail
- Focus on details, errorless delivery, logical reasoning
- Good public presence and ability to interact with many types of people at different levels
