Job Description of Senior Frontend Developer

A Senior Frontend Developer is in charge of building and maintaining web applications and systems which set up to work closely with a product manager, UX/UI designer, and other developers to Maximize speed with a consistent and reliable web experience and improved user experience for users, and optimized web design for mobile-friendly, tablet-friendly, and other platforms for maximum speed. 

 

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the development team, growth team, management team, and production team to improve the existing products
  2. Optimize and improve responsive for applications for maximum speed
  3. Work closely with the Backend Developer to report and update the problem and troubleshoot to the product manager
  4. Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
  5. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  6. Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Product Manager
  7. Participating in code reviews and testing new features to ensure they are compatible with existing features
  8. Reviewing requirements from clients and creating designs that meet their needs

Education & Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, associate’s degree or technical certification or relevant field

  • Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in web development
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Responsive Design, and jQuery
  • Experience with VueJS and NuxtJS for at least 1-2 years
  • Experience with RESTful APIs is plus
  • Understanding of server-side and backend side

 

Skills and Abilities

  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Can communicate efficiently in English and Khmer
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Working independently and well with and contributing effectively to a team
  • Well-organized and attention to detail
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Be able to full-time and long term
